I have been dreaming with this creative concept fo

I have been dreaming with this creative concept for a maternity session for a while but haven’t found anyone whom would want to take it on and go with it. When I found out I was pregnant I was like: now I can do it myself lol

I am so grateful to my sweet friend @aileenaphotography for clicking these photos for us! She embraced my crazy idea of clips and bed sheets hanging in the studio and made me feel confident and pretty.

Pregnancy can be a weird thing sometimes when it comes to self image. You see your body changing and a lot of it is so out of your control that you can get caught up in not seeing yourself anymore.

While I edited these today I don’t think I have ever felt so confident and pretty in who I am. Stretch marks, a lot of extra pounds, whatever it may be, my body is creating a new life and feel so blessed I get to experience it.

I finally got the concept of my dreams and the all black and white session I have been dreaming of 🖤🤍

Also, thank you once again to the ONE AND ONLY @mollyingrahammua for the most incredible glam ever!

What a perfect day and location for Julie and Zach’s engagement session. Sarah Duke Gardens didn’t disappoint, flowers and colors popping everything. I had the best time with these two and I cannot wait to capture their big day in November.

There’s nothing quite like strolling through dow

There’s nothing quite like strolling through downtown with my couples, especially when the places hold such sentimental value to them. Downtown Durham is that place for Amelia & Michael. These two free spirit, kindred souls are some of the most easy going and wonderful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Fun fact about these two story: On their third date, Michael whisked Amelia to the DPAC to experience Hamilton from the front row. Yes, you heard that right—the front row! Knowing Amelia’s love for musicals, Michael hit the jackpot in the game of dating and winning her heart forevermore.🤭🥹

I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph their wedding in November. It’s sure to be a celebration as vibrant and unique as they are! ✨
